Why Joy Behar Said Black People Should Trust Vaccines Is Sickening!

The View co-host Joy Behar continues to raise more than a few eyebrows not just due to the fact that she is urging black to get the vaccine, but also in the way that she is doing it. Behar’s borderline-offensive comment was that her black friends shouldn’t have vaccine hesitancy because “…the experiment has been done on white people.”

Excuse me? Joy Behar is a controversial figure as it is, but she went further by bringing up the Tuskegee Experiments, which would go on to become well-known not for anything positive but for seeing how the untreated syphilis experimentation had been done on as many as 400 black people without their knowledge or consent for four decades. That’s right. Four decades between 1932 to 1972. Moreover, over a hundred people died as a result of the study.

Behar was kind of playing the blame game here because she also noted that because of the prank, she really couldn’t blame the individuals of color simply due to the fact this had been done. She said that due to the fact that these black people had been given syphilis during these Tuskegee Experiments she doesn’t blame them for being hesitant to get the vaccine now.

“How do they get through to people like the black audience, for instance, the African American community, who has been burnt in the past by these Tuskegee experiments and things coming out that have harmed them,” Behar said. “I don’t blame that community for being skittish about it, but I say that so many white people have gotten it now, you know, the experiment has been done on white people now.”

Fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg proceeded to chime in, agreeing with Behar.

“The Tuskegee experiment, there are countless things we can point to. But this is not one of them. This isn’t one of them. And did you just say, Joy, white people? This is what I said at the beginning: White people are getting it. If you don’t see them with double heads, it’s OK. You know, if you don’t see a tail, it’s OK.”

While this is understandable, let’s put the shoe on the other foot here. If this were a white person, both the ultra-liberal Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg would be calling for their heads, simply due to the fact that according to them their refusal would lead to spreading it. So in this situation, apparently a white person cannot win either way with Behar and Goldberg…
