HUH? The CDC APPROVED The Use Of Ivermectin?
“I have long been convinced that Nature has all the solutions we need to solve our past … that will be the primary source of the treasures and solutions that we seek.” ~
When Professor Satashi Omura, Nobel co-laureate for the discovery of ivermectin, uttered these words, he likely had no idea of all of the uses of ivermectin, and now he would probably be shocked at how the United States government is misusing it as well.
Indeed, all you have to do is look at the CDC guidance, and you would immediately wonder why there is such a run on ivermectin. Could it be that our own government is using it? And no, they aren’t using it for horses, but rather on refugees and other human beings? However, at the same time, these same government agencies keep running a bloody libel-style that conflates it with a veterinarian version of the drug, leading these people to think it’s some type of poison for humans. However, they are still leaving thousands of COVID patients without any other options for treatment.

Presently, it is not clear whether the hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees are going to be forced to get vaccinated like Americans traveling internationally, but one thing is clear: these Afghan refugees are likely going to get that ivermectin that Americans can no longer access. Come to find out, in 2019 the CDC issued guidance for refugees from the three continents of the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America to be able to use the ivermectin pre-emptively for these potential infections.
The CDC continues to advise the International Organization for Migration (IOM) regarding the physicians who screen these refugees for departure, as well as the U.S. doctors who treat them upon arrival, and they are mandating that they treat “all Middle Eastern, North African, Asian, Latin American, and Caribbean refugees” with ivermectin and albendazole.
“But that is for parasitic infection, not viral infection!” shouts the chorus of ignorant fools who ignored the past year-and-a-half of ivermectin saving countless lives. If we put aside this point for a moment, we realize that this is simply a question about efficacy, and not safety. Moreover, the government agencies continue to slander ivermectin as if it’s not a safe drug, nor is it entirely trying to convince people that it is safe to use. Simply put, they want people to believe that it is for animals. However, do they consider refugees to be animals? The point remains the same: people who are now getting COVID – both those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated – are quickly coming to realize that they have no options for outpatient treatment. Just why is it that the government would stand in the way of ivermectin treatment and mass distribute it to refugees even if the government bureaucrats don’t believe it will help for COVID-19?
Of course, the government doesn’t even do that great of a job screening refugees for COVID in the first place, but now they are suspending ivermectin treatment for refugees that have COVID and a parasitic infection?
After all, we continue to be told that somehow one of the safest drugs in the history of mankind suddenly turns unsafe if you want to use this thing for another ailment. Or maybe these Americans could self-identify as refugees so that they can obtain prescriptions for this life saving drug. Of course, the elephant in the room is this: will the media continue to call this a “horse dewormer” even if it’s being administered to Afghan refugees.
I for one trust Professor Omura, who developed this drug for Merck, tremendously more than the company itself. You see, Merck stands to make some gigantic profits over the drugs they are developing.
In March, Omura wrote in the Japanese Journal of Antibiotics that he is hoping that “Ivermectin will be utilized as a countermeasure for COVID-19 as soon as possible.” Ten years ago, Omura observed: “Ivermectin has continually proved to be astonishingly safe for human use. Indeed, it is such a safe drug, with minimal side effects, that it can be administered by non-medical staff and even illiterate individuals in remote rural communities, provided that they have had some very basic, appropriate training.”
Even a cursory look at the World Wide Web will illustrate that there is a unique degree of reverence for the drug among all of the (pre-political) literature on ivermectin. One example of this would be with Nature’s Journal of Antibiotics, which published an article in 2017 that indicated that ivermectin held promise outside use as just an anti-parasite medication:
1. Inhibits binding at ACE2 and TMPRSS2, keeping the virus from entering our cells.
2. Blocks alpha/beta importin (the virus cell taxi), keeping it from getting to the nucleus.
3. Blocks the viral replicase zipper (RdRp).
4. 3-Chimotrypsin protease inhibition (keeps the virus from assembling).
5. Ivermectin strengthens our natural antiviral cell activity by increasing our natural interferon production (this counters SARSCOV2 activity, which inhibits cellular interferon).
6. Decreases IL-6 and other inflammatory cytokines through NF Kappa Beta downregulation, taking the patient from a cytokine storm to calm.
7. Binds NSP14, necessary for viral replication, and blocks it (equals less virus).
8. Most important mechanism is inhibiting binding to CD147 receptor on red cells, platelets, lung, and blood cell lining. Ivermectin keeps the virus from binding here and decreases deadly clotting.
When you consider all of these factors, perhaps we were missing the boat when it comes to ivermectin. So the next time that you hear media figures referring to ivermectin as an animal medicine, simply remember that they are regarding individuals from three different continents as second-class citizens.
