The nation continues to debate whether children should be forced to wear these face masks while they are at school. Hermann Goring himself, Dr. Tony Fauci, has now weighed in on the issue, and sure enough, he is all for it. He believes that yes, wearing face masks should be a condition of attending school. Rights are going out the window completely.

The Details

Fauci is the chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden, and he said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that this untested COVID-19 vaccine should be added to the list of requirements that most schools have for children attending school yet again.

Fauci works as the chief medical adviser for President Joe Biden, and the jolly old doctor was recently on CNN’s “State of the Union” where he continued to praise the COVID-19 vaccine and he claimed that this unproven vaccine should be added to the list of vaccines that most schools require their students to have before admission.

“I believe that mandating vaccines for children to appear in school is a good idea,” Fauci said.

“This is not something new. We have mandates in many places in schools, particularly public schools, that if, in fact, you want a child to come in, we have done this for decades and decades, requiring polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis,” he continued. “So this would not be something new, requiring vaccinations for children to come to school.”

However, another thing that Fauci conceded is that he certainly understands that a “lot of people will be pushing back against” making the COVID-19 vaccination a requirement for attending their school.

At this point in time, the Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of the vaccine for people 12 years old and above. This is the age restriction that prevents children under 12 from receiving the vaccine, and it complicates Dr. Fauci’s proposal.

However, there was also a separate interview on ABC’s “This Week” where Fauci predicted that the FDA would give clearance for children even younger than 12 to take part in the vaccine as well. Indeed, last week Fauci said that this clearance could arrive even before the holiday season according to Reuters.

Are there any schools who have implemented a COVID vaccine mandate?

Earlier this month, it was the Culver City Unified School District in California that likely became the first school district in the United States to enact such a requirement.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

Culver City schools Supt. Quoc Tran said the student vaccine mandate was issued after safety protocol discussions with the school board, teacher and employee unions and parents — who agreed that the requirement would help protect their schools as much as possible. The district, which serves 7,100 K-12 students, has 900 employees, who also must be vaccinated.
“We felt that doing the minimum is not quite good enough. We could do more,” Tran said. “We are in the context of constantly crowded places in school settings. The vaccine helps in case our children or staff members contract the virus. They have a lesser chance to be severely impacted.”

The Los Angeles Times claimed that this decision was praised by parents, students, and of course public health officials. Tran noted that the pushback, if any, was minimal to the school’s decision.

Either way, our rights continue to erode, and no one seems to be noticing.
