What Ashli Babbitt’s Husband Said After The KILLER Revealed Himself Is Perfect!

Ashli Babbitt’s husband Aaron was on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Thursday and he issued a rebuttal message to the MSNBC Interview with the man that killed his wife. Lt. Michael Byrd broke his silence, confirming his identity with his on-camera interview with MSNBC earlier that evening. The Capitol Police had previously refused to confirm the name of the shooter, but it had been reported all over the right-wing media to be Byrd, including this one.

When Byrd made his MSNBC appearance, he had the gall to say that he had saved “countless lives” by shooting and killing Babbitt, and that he was getting death threats since killing the Air Force veteran. Even though Babbitt was unarmed, Byrd said that the whole thing was “disheartening” and that he was just “doing my job.” Well, Mr. Babbitt begged to differ on that.

In his exclusive interview with @LesterHoltNBC, Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd is now explaining why he chose to identify himself. First of all, Byrd shared his version of events from the January 6th riot, and it started when officers barricaded the door and Byrd fired a single shot which killed Ashli Babbitt.

Babbitt’s husband was nonplussed and didn’t hold back in his response. He told Lieutenant Michael Byrd that he needed to “suck it up.”

“I don’t even want to hear him talk about how he’s getting death threats and he’s scared,” Aaron Babbitt said. “I’ve been getting death threats since Jan. 7 — two, three, five, 10 a day — and all I did on Jan. 6 was become a widower. So, you’re going to have to suck it up, bud, and take it.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for Tucker Carlson to remind the viewers that Byrd is the same officer who left his loaded weapon in a men’s room at the Capitol building in 2019.

Carlson was also quick to call out the whole idea that Byrd was claiming that Babbitt was a threat.

“She was 5’2, she was unarmed, there were armed police in tactical gear standing right next to her on the other side of the door,” Carlson noted. “She was not warned, the tape shows that — she was just executed. But she was a threat, that’s what he’s telling you.”

Carlson also mocked Byrd for the way that he was manipulating the situation, pretending that he was the “real victim” in the situation.

Babbitt’s husband noted that he was “pissed off” and that his “agitation level” had gone through the roof after he heard the officer say that he did not care if she was armed or not. He also noted that Representatives Paul Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Louie Gohmert were the only lawmakers that had been in contact with his family.

The Capitol Police and the Justice Department both cleared the officer of any wrongdoing.

“The investigation revealed no evidence to establish that, at the time the officer fired a single shot at Ms. Babbitt, the officer did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others evacuating the House Chamber,” federal prosecutors said in a statement.

Oh brother. I beg to differ, and so does former President Donald Trump, who has continually said that he thinks Ashli Babbitt was murdered.
