The TALIBAN Is Going Door To Door Murdering Christians!

It is a difficult time to be a Christian in Afghanistan right now. They are unfortunately fleeing to the mountains as the Taliban militants are reported to be going door to door in search of Christian believers so that they can kill them. Whatever happened to them respecting women and standing up for people’s rights?

It’s the beginning of what many individuals forecast to be a brutal, terroristic Taliban reign, and don’t expect Sleepy Joe to do anything about it. These radical Islamic militants have swept through Afghanistan at alarming rates in recent weeks as the U.S. troops were withdrawn, and they are already targeting enemies that disagree with them.

Leaders in the underground Afghanistan church released an official statement this week where they told missionary group Frontier Alliance International that many of the Christians in the region are being targeted for execution.

The Taliban has a hit list of known Christians they continue to target and kill. It doesn’t help matters that the U.S. embassy is defunct and there is no longer any safe refuge for Christan believers to congregate. Not to mention the fact that all borders to neighboring countries are closed and all flights to and from these countries have been halted. Private planes? Oh sure. The wealthy, powerful, and politicians can get out, but not these ordinary Christians. That is one of the main reasons why people are fleeing into the mountains seeking asylum. These individuals are relying on God and God alone, because He is the only one who can protect them. They had better pray hard because if this isn’t a dystopia, I don’t know what is.

We now have husbands and fathers giving their wives and daughters guns and telling them that when the Taliban come, they have the choice of either killing them or killing themselves – the choice is up to them. One anonymous Afghan Christian leader told CBN news this week that the Taliban’s public decree that they are going to be tolerant and inclusive are nothing more than bald-faced lies. Instead, you better darn well believe that their end goal is to rout out Christians from the population.

“Right now we fear elimination,” the anonymous individual said. “The Taliban are going to eliminate the Christian population of Afghanistan.”

This anonymous leader said that he already has lost contact with other believers in different cities and now he fears that it is only a matter of time before the persecution continues to get worse.

He added that there were several cases where Christians were known to their communities and that made them obvious targets for the Taliban, who he said have become very “famous for carrying out” the death penalty.

Of course, there are plenty of other people who are in hiding but don’t think for a minute that has stopped the Taliban from searching for their identity. Taliban fighters are reportedly going through people’s phones in an effort to see if they have Bible apps.

“We’re hearing from reliable sources that the Taliban demand people’s phones, and if they find a downloaded Bible on your device, they will kill you immediately,” Dr. Rex Rogers, president of Middle Eastern Christian TV network SAT-7 North America, told the Religious News Service.

“It’s incredibly dangerous right now for Afghans to have anything Christian on their phones. The Taliban have spies and informants everywhere,” he added.

Open Doors USA has reported that Afghanistan is currently listed as the world’s second most dangerous place for Christians.

The persecution might continue unabated, but despite all of that, during the last 20 years of U.S. military occupation, thousands of Afghan people have allegedly become followers of Christ. Of course, any level of security these individuals used to enjoy is now gone as Taliban forces show their true colors and raid their properties and homes. Christians around the world are now in prayer over the terrible persecution that Afghan Christians are now facing.
