What Dianne Feinstein Said To Ashli Babbitt’s Mom Is Beyond Ghoulish!
Ashli Babbit’s mother continues to grieve, but apparently she is not going to get any sympathy from the office of Senator Dianne Feinstein. An aide in her office scolded her, saying, “your daughter should not have stormed the Capitol,” when Babbitt’s mother called in to attempt to get more information about her daughter’s death. Babbitt’s mother, Micki Witthoeft, detailed her horrible experience dealing with Dianne Feinstein during an interview with Dinest D’Souza earlier this week.
Witthoeft detailed to D’Souza how the first time she called Dianne Feinstein’s office, the staffer whom she talked to pretended that he didn’t know who Ashli Babbitt was.
The second time that Witthoeft called, the aide she talked to had the nerve to scold her for the actions of her daughter, snapping, “Dianne Feinstein will never have two minutes for you.”
“Dianne Feinstein’s people were just awful,” Witthoeft said.
Interestingly enough, Feinstein’s office did not have the same response with others who have been killed by police, including George Floyd, who was resisting arrest and was high on fentanyl, putting police officers at risk during the beginning stages of this pandemic.
“I started with Nancy Pelosi. And I called Nancy Pelosi and I called Dianne Feinstein … from three weeks after Ashli’s death to currently. … Nancy Pelosi I have called no less than a dozen times. I have never received any kind of correspondence from her. She will not call me back. I’ve emailed her, she doesn’t email me back. .. I’ve had absolutely no response,” the mourning mother and California resident said.
And here is a telling turn of events: apparently, the only politician who has reached out to Witthoeft has been former President Donald Trump on July 1. To his credit, U.S. representative Darrell Issa reportedly also contacted Babbitt’s husband.
They denied Babbitt a military funeral even though she was a veteran. However, Babbitt’s mother reported that they had a lovely ceremony regardless.
“When we scattered her ashes, I had them dedicated to patriotic people. They did a flag ceremony for her and taps was played for her and we honored her with respect.”
The family of Ashli Babbitt also announced that they are filing a $10 million wrongful death against the U.S. Capitol and the unidentified officer who shot her. Take that, Dianne Feinstein!
