President Biden noted during a speech last Thursday that all federal government employees will need to attest to their vaccination status and moreover those who have not been vaccinated will have to get tested at least once or twice per week, wear a mask, and also engage in as much social distancing as possible. Biden also said that these individuals are not going to be allowed to be permitted to travel for work.

In the White House news release, there was an indication that this is something that Biden is considering applying to “all federal contractors.”

Biden also made a similar announcement where he said that he was going to ask the Department of Defense to get the ball rolling on how and when they will place COVID-19 vaccinations on the list that military members are required to receive.

President Biden also noted during a speech on Thursday that he was requiring all federal government employees to attest to whether they had a solid vaccination status, and that those who have not been vaccinated are going to be required to get tested at least once or twice per week, wear a mask, and continue to practice social distancing. They will also need to balance their work responsibilities because unvaccinated folks are not normally going to be permitted to travel for work. Apparently, “my body, my choice” only applies to abortion rights. With this vaccination, it seems that you have no rights whatsoever if you fail to receive it for whatever reason.

There was also a White House news release that indicates that all of these policies are also going to apply to onsite contractors as well.

President Biden also said that he was going to instruct all of the members of his administration to apply the same standards to “all other federal contractors.”

The president is still strongly urging everyone who has not yet been vaccinated to go ahead and do so.

“So please,” the president pleaded. “Everyone needs to exercise responsible judgment and get vaccinated for the people you love, for yourself, and for your country.”

The federal government now employs as many as four million people, according to this release.
