What The Alabama Governor Said About The Unvaccinated Is Absolutely Inhuman!

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey had some very pointed things to say about unvaccinated people on Friday. Needless to say, the Alabama governor is directing her ire toward unvaccinated people, ultimately blaming them for the rise in COVID-19 cases in her state.

In a nutshell, Kay Ivey dehumanized unvaccinated people and has now made them feel like they have a big, red target on their backs.

Ivey then proceeded to refer to vaccinated people as “regular folks” and so many of those who didn’t get the vaccine for whatever reason is now being classified as “the others.” Well, the only thing you need to know about this rhetoric is that it is dangerous, divisive, and it needs to be denounced.

“Folks are supposed to have common sense. But it’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It’s the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down,” Ivey told several newspapers in Birmingham.

“The new cases of Covid are because of unvaccinated folks. Almost 100% of the new hospitalizations are with unvaccinated folks. And the deaths are certainly occurring with unvaccinated folks,” she said. “These folks are choosing a lifestyle of self-inflicted pain.”

She got a little blunt when she said the following: “It’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks.

Recent reports have shown that Alabama is one of the most unvaccinated states in the country, with only 40% of their residents currently having at least one of the COVID shots.
