What Dan Crenshaw Just Said About Woke Olympians Is Perfect!

Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw (Texas) said last Monday that U.S. hammer thrower Gwen Berry needed to be kicked off the U.S. Olympic team because of her decision to protest the national anthem during the track and field Olympic trials a few weekends ago.

While standing on the Olympic podium and waiting for the bronze medal that Saturday, Berry turned her back to the flag and she had draped a T-shirt that had the phrase “Activist Athlete” placed over her head while the national anthem was playing.

Crenshaw was taking issue with this disparaging display in an appearance last Monday morning on Fox News, and he argued that Berry needed to be “removed from the team.”

“The one thing that we do not need is any more activist athletes,” the lawmaker announced. “You know, she needs to be removed from the team. The entire point of the Olympic team is to represent our country. That’s the entire point, Okay?” he began. “Now, it is really just one thing when NBA players do this, that’s fine, we can just stop watching, but now the Olympic team is starting to do it too? Additionally, it’s multiple cases of this. They need to be removed. That needs to be the bare minimum requirement.”

Dan Crenshaw took the opportunity to argue that one of the main reasons why Berry and other athletes feel the need to protest is because this is ultimately the result of critical race theory being taught in American public schools and colleges. Crenshaw noted that CRT and other liberal idea monstrosities teach that these racist ideologies have been taught in many institutions.

“If we take it a few levels deeper, we can see that this is the pathology that can occur when we’re teaching critical race theory in our schools and colleges. Teaching that will absolutely result in thse displays of hatred toward our own country, and this has to stop,” he said.

Berry responded to Crenshaw’s comments, Berry tweeted, “At this point, I think you all are obsessed with me.”

This athlete and world record holder later took the time to address Crenshaw directly with this gem: “Dan can kiss my ass.”

After the meet, Berry alleged that she had been caught off-guard when the anthem was playing simply because it is typically not played right after the qualifying meets. However, that still doesn’t change the fact that she decided to wear something that made a political statement. “I think that this might be a setup, and I think that they played the anthem that way on purpose,” she said. “I was very pissed, honestly.”

What do you think about all this?
