United Airlines FORCING Employees To Get Unproven Vaccination!

United Airlines has recently announced that all of their new employees will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 starting this month, according to CBS News. Essentially, the COVID-19 vaccination is now mandatory if you want to work for United Airlines.

“We continue to welcome new employees to the company, and it’s important we instill in them United’s strong commitment to keeping them safe,” the airline said in a memo to all current employees, CBS News stated. “That is why effective for all job offers that we make after June 15, 2021, we are going to require any external candidates for a U.S.-based job to attest that they have been completely vaccinated against COVID-19 by the time they begin employment with United Airlines.”

Basically, all of the new United employees are going to be required to upload their vaccination cards into the online system designated for the airline within at least a week of joining the company, CBS News reported.

Delta Airlines has also mandated the same policy for all of their new employees in April, according to CBS News. Delta called the vaccination shots “safe, effective, and essential not just to the future of our airline but to our world as well.”

United Airlines actually hinted at the fact that they would probably follow suit if other airlines required their employees to get the vaccination. CEO Scott Kirby said that his company most likely would join the others simply because it was “the right thing to do.”

“We absolutely need others to show some leadership as well, particularly in the healthcare industry,” Kirby said during an employee town hall, CBS News reported. “So, if others are going to go along and be willing to start to mandate this vaccination, then you should probably go ahead and expect United to be the first wave of candidates to do it.”

Not All Companies Are on Board

Of course, in their halfhearted attempts to be impartial, the network also added that other U.S. airlines had said they would not require any of their workers to get the vaccination for COVID-19.

“We will strongly encourage other team members to get vaccinated and will even offer incentives for them to do so,” a spokesperson with American Airlines said. “However, we are not planning on requiring the vaccine unless it’s mandatory for entering into certain destinations.”

Anything Else?

Late last month, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said that businesses can mandate that employees get vaccinated against COVID-19 so that they can enter their workplaces and they could even offer incentives if they have received the vaccine.

A recent poll of 1,300 employers indicated that at least 60% of them are going to require proof of vaccination from their employees, according to ABC News. However, there are some who are surprisingly silent on this issue. For example, the left-wing social media powerhouse Facebook is not planning on enacting a mandate that their employees must get the vaccination.
