Trump Was Just Bestowed An Absolutely Wonderful Honor!

It is a common occurrence for buildings, airports, parks, streets, and many different other landmarks to be named after former Presidents. It is both states and cities that will name these buildings after the former Commanders-in-Chief.

Of course, if you ask Democrats, they would tell you that they would rather just completely forget about Donald J. Trump and how he was the 45th President of the United States. Indeed, there is no question that the current administration continues to go to great lengths not to run the country, but to completely erase the legacy of the 45th President.

However, it doesn’t matter how much propaganda you throw at former President Trump; that isn’t going to stop one particular state from honoring the former President Trump.

Despite the fact that the liberal news media has done everything in their power to totally rip the former president to shreds, the Trump legacy lives on with conservatives. It doesn’t matter that the media has tried to do everything in their power to blame the January 6th protests on Donald Trump either. There are many Trump supporters who are hoping that the former President will run again in 2024. He hasn’t confirmed either way whether he will run again, but at the same time he hasn’t left the political sphere since he left the White House.

However, even if he never holds political office ever again, there is one state that is going to ensure that President Trump’s legacy lives on. That’s right. The state of Oklahoma will make sure that Donald Trump is remembered forever in at least some fashion. Oklahoma Republicans have voted to rename a stretch of highway after President Trump.

A new bill was recently signed by Republican Governor Kevin Stitt, there will be a 20-mile stretch of highway between Boise City and the state line of Texas after the forty-fifth president. This highway is a part of U.S. route 287, and it runs from the northern and southern parts of the Oklahoma Panhandle.

However, there were some hurdles that the Sooner lawmakers had to clear before they could make this happen.

According to the Oklahoman, they made some amendments to a bill that normally would require everyone except a Medal of Honor recipient to have been deceased for at least three years before they are able to have a bridge or a road named after them.

Once the lawmakers made that change, this bill was easily passed in the Oklahoma legislature.

And you might be surprised to learn that this isn’t the first such honor that former President Donald Trump has received since he ended his term last January.

For instance, there was yet another Ohio lawmaker who made a formal request to name Mosquito Lake State Park in Trumbull County to Donald J. Trump State Park, according to State Representative Mike Loychik. Additionally, congressman Loychik said that the legislation is meant to honor the commitment and dedication that the 45th President of the United States had bestowed upon Americans in Trumbull County in Ohio

Of course, it seems like its an easy endeavor for Barack Obama to be able to get his name literally everywhere as an ex-president, but what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Yes, it might be just a little bit more difficult for Trump to get things renamed after him after the tremendous character assassination that the liberals placed upon him, but there is no question that it is happening in different pockets of the country. As long as we don’t expect it to happen in the more liberal states, we are in good shape.
