Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib has a new message for her constituents, and she is calling for an end to what she sees as extreme policing and incarceration of criminals in her bid to reach out to her Democrat base. It seems to be a bit of a stretch, to say the least.
There are definitely some questions regarding whether the shoot of Wright had been justified or not, and no opinion should be rendered until all of the facts are in.
Tlaib has established herself as being someone who constantly sides with criminals in regard to police and law enforcement. Does her opinion count? Yes, but it is definitely jaded because of her track record. It appears that she wants a world where no police exist and no one goes to prison.
My apologies if I’m making a vague pop-culture reference, but do you want to see a world like RoboCop that is totally dystopian? That is what will happen if there is nothing to deter criminals from increasing the number of crimes they commit because they wouldn’t have any consequences for getting caught. Couple this with the fact that Rashida Tlaib is a Democrat who wants to seize guns owned by private citizens for their own protection, and you have a world where rules go out the window.
“It wasn’t an accident,” Rashida Tlaib said. “Policing in our country continues to be racist, both inherently and intentionally. It is a fact that Daunte Wright was met with violence and aggression. (Oh brother, let’s not wait until the facts come out, shall we?) I don’t appreciate those who condone government-funded murder.”
Tlaib doesn’t even think that Wright was responsible for the incident. What about the crime that Wright was wanted for? Did the cop commit that crime? It seems to me the police possibly tried to arrest him peacefully, but it was his decision to try to break free and flee in his car. Thus, even if the cop acted badly, to say that Wright didn’t play a role in the tragedy that ended his life is bunk as well. In that regard, Wright’s choices were his own and it doesn’t matter what the female cop did.
Tlaib went a step further, retweeting a tweet that mocked the “accidental” death of Wright, saying that they “spelled murder wrong again.”
According to different reports, Wright was taking off in his car after there had been an attempt to arrest him when an officer at the scene shot him. She was claiming that she grabbed the gun instead of the Taser by mistake. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene, and unfortunately, he is now fodder for liberal dingbats such as Rashida Tlaib to talk to her constituents about.
