Are you getting ready to return to campus for your fall semester? If so, you probably should be aware that there is a trend coming up where your rights just might be under assault. It seems that those who are students at Rutgers University must now get one of the COVID-19 vaccines before they are allowed to attend. “A safer Rutgers community starts now, and we must do this for our families, friends, and all of our neighbors throughout the state,” A message from the President’s Office stated.
Rutgers Students Will Need to Show Proof of Vaccination
At this point, there are three vaccines that one can choose from. The Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are all acceptable for the university. Of course, most students under 18 will get the Pfizer option. The FDA has approved that option for those as young as 16.
Students can request an exemption based on religious or medical reasons. They also have the option of enrolling in online-only programs and they don’t have to be vaccinated at all.
According to CBS New York, Rutgers is just about the first university in the Eastern United States to require this vaccine for on-campus students.
“We want to build one of the safest campuses in North America,” said Antonio Calcado, the Rutgers Executive Vice President.
“We want our students to have a safe college experience,” he continued. “We do feel there will be some people who won’t agree with this decision, but we can find a way to deal it.”
This all comes on the heels of a CDC report that 19% of adults in New Jersey have been vaccinated.

Apparently, the Biden Administration is working around the clock to develop credentials just like vaccine passports. This will require people to show proof of vaccination as both businesses and individuals continue to emerge from the lockdown. One thing is for certain: these passports will offer a glimpse into the future after we have suffered for months under these COVID-19 restrictions.
Of course, the big elephant in the room would be individual liberty. Can people be allowed to refuse the vaccine if they so desire? Will they be forced to comply and be injected with this experimental poison? Time will tell, but you really can see how easily the masses would fall for something similar to this.
