One of the interesting things as it seems that Joe Biden thinks he can do when it comes to his Cabinet appointees and high-ranking officials is the idea that he can cover up all of the horrible stuff that they have done.
Face it, people don’t always pay attention to the Assistant Secretary of Whatever, or the Deputy Director of this and that. Half the time we don’t even know their names.
Those are the really crooked ones th at people like Joe Biden want to have in positions so they can dictate policy on some level and know th at they will bend to whatever it is that he needs.
A Joe Biden appointee has been caught red-handed following the well-known Washington, D.C. motto: “Do as I say, not as I do.”
Minimum Wage Hypocrisy
Biden’s nominee for Associate Attorney General, Vanita Gupta, has been an advocate for raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour.
“Raising wages is a moral question: do we value the people who are the engine of our economy or not? The answer must be yes,” Gupta said while serving as President and CEO of The Education Fund in 2018.
The Biden appointee is now being called out as a hypocrite, as newly discovered information shows that her family business, which has made her extremely wealthy, pays its workers only $1.30 an hour for a fifty hour work week in Mexico.
Gupta owns at least $500,000 worth of stock in Aptiv PLC, which is “an international auto parts manufacturer chaired by [Gupta’s] father” according to the Washington Free Beacon.
A job listing for the company’s Zacatecas, Mexico plant on Indeed.com shows that the employees are paid the equivalent of $260 per month for working fifty hours per week. According to the report, “Other positions currently advertised by the company include a full-time general operator job that pays $290 a month and a production line operator position that pays $274 a month.”
