People always tend to leave clues as to what they are doing, no matter what activity it might be in.
It almost always happens, your parents ask you what you might like for Christmas when you are six and then all of a sudden Santa brought you that very thing.
In the political realm, President Trump has largely been quiet since leaving office. He’s got a lot on his plate, but that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t been leaving hints here and there as to what his next move is.
President Trump dropped more hints during his final speech on the morning of January 20, indicating that he plans to re-enter the political arena in some form in the future.
The remarks were made at Andrews Air Force Base as President Trump was preparing to board Air Force One on his way to his home state of Florida, and came soon after The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump is contemplating starting his own political party.
“It’s been something very special. What we’ve done has been amazing by any standard. We rebuilt the United States Military. We created a new force called Space Force, that in itself would be a major achievement for a regular administration. We were not a regular administration,” Trump said.
Trump also discussed his administration’s successful policies, such as cutting taxes and regulations, which helped boost economic growth and secure low unemployment numbers for the majority of his administration. He then thanked his supporters.
“You are amazing people. This is a great, great country. It is my greatest honor and privilege to have been your president. I will always fight for you. I will be watching. I will be listening. And I will tell you that the future of this country has never been better. I wish the new administration great luck and great success. I think they’ll have great success. They have the foundation to do something really spectacular and again, we put it in a position like it’s never been before despite the worst plague to hit since 1917, over 100 years ago,” Trump said.
