It seems that no matter what, everyone in the mainstream media seems to have a price.
If you slide a big enough envelope under the right door, I suppose you can get anyone to say anything in your favor.
It used to be with Fox News, that you could at least get a fair shake out of them even if you didn’t agree with them all the time. They at the very least tried to get things as fairly as humanly possible. Then someone got to them.
Fox News, the channel conservatives used to love and trust, is gone. On Wednesday, President Trump made an announcement about the failure of the once-beloved news station on Twitter.
Ratings are dropping for Fox News, as conservatives seek alternative media sources for their daily news, such as One America News Network and Newsmax.
“Can’t believe how badly @FoxNews is doing in the ratings. They played right into the hands of the Radical Left Democrats, & now are floating in limboland. Hiring fired @donnabraziIe, and far worse, allowing endless negative and unedited commercials. @FoxNews is dead. Really Sad!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.
As reported by Todd Starnes, “The fair and balanced network was killed by an unchecked HR department that hired radical leftists along with sex and gender revolutionaries. They were more interested in diversity and inclusion than holding on to their base. The first cable television news channel killed by wokeness.”
With the addition of Donna Brazile, who is widely known as the woman who shared questions with Hillary Clinton prior to a debate, Fox News began losing its viewers. Chris Wallace‘s disastrous moderation in the debate between President Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden pushed even more viewers away.
There are still a few good hosts on the channel, such as Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, but the channel cannot sustain itself with just two shows.
