A friend of a friend is a firefighter and the other day we all happened to be at the same function together and he was telling me this story that about defied description.
It’s amazing what these guys do at the potential expense of their lives.
It takes a special kind of person to say that they are going to run into a burning building to help someone that they don’t even know.
It’s why when you see videos online of people acting like idiots it makes me wish there were more people putting out videos of firefighters doing courageous things
A ‘suspicious’ fire broke out on the 6th floor of a high rise in Los Angeles this morning.
Brave firefighters were able to rescue residents clinging to the side of the building.

Several residents were rescued from the roof of the building by helicopter including the injured who were taken to area hospitals.
Thanks to the hero firefighters, everyone was rescued. There were eight injuries but no deaths from this “suspicious” fire. This same building had another suspicious fire a few years ago. Investigators are working on finding the cause for the fire.
