Teen Beauty Queen Arrested After School Makes An Unfortunate Discovery [VIDEO]

A South Carolina teenage beauty queen faces forgery charges after allegedly faking doctor’s notes to skip school, cops said.

The 2015 Miss Teen South Carolina International, Madison Cox reportedly, was arrested and charged with forging a doctor’s note to skip school.

The 17-year-old used a pad from Parris Family Chiropractic in Lyman, just outside of Spartanburg, to write herself doctor’s notes explaining her absences from Byrnes High School, police said

The clinic never saw Cox on the dates she claimed in her notes, police said. On some of the supposed appointment days, the medical office was closed.

The teenage beauty went on a two-day Twitter rant as news of her arrest spread.

“Did they really just put me on the news BC I went to jail for a DOCTORS NOTE???” she tweeted Wednesday.

She deleted the caps-locked message, but followed up Thursday morning with another tweet hinting at her infamy.

“It’s sad that I’m the only entertainment in y’alls lives,” she wrote with crying and laughing emojis.

“I’ve got to learn to stop being so childish and keep my mouth closed,” she added.

Cox was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen International last year after previously holding the Miss Spartanburg Teen International 2015 sash.

Miss Teen International did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.

  • Her only mistake is she didn’t sign the note with the same signature as Dennis the Menace when he wrote;

Please ekscuse Dennis from klass today, he’s sick from a broken leg.
    Signed: My Mom.

Going to jail for playing “hookie”…we’re losing our heads folks!!!

  • Stupid people arrest teen for fake note to skip school, she should be kicked out of school for three days, or some thing, but arrested is pure stupidity!!! Most kids do stupid stuff in school!!!

    • If it had been an ordinary note, then yes she would most likely have been suspended. But she used a prescription pad, thus the police got involved.

  • SOUND LIKE A WINNER! I guess when it comes to beauty people are always get away with it and believable and most authority are pretty gullible !

  • This “beauty” has an obligation to follow rules just like everybody and should suffer harsh results for her actions and especially so, since she is set up as a role model. Is she charged with theft also for stealing doc’s script pad? I am sick of the passivity of people when crime or simple rules are ignored.

  • It’s sad to note that I’ve often found that exceptionally good-looking people expect to skate through life, and be excused for their failings, based on their physical appearance.
By doing so – by being allowed to do so – they fail to develop the character traits that make than a pleasant productive human being.
