What President Trump Is Donating His Salary To This Time Will WARM YOUR HEART!

Every year the President of the United States gets an amount allotted by the government as compensation for the job that he has to perform.

Now, most people that get the keys to the oval officer for a few years have enough money before they come into this unique power that quite honestly they really do not need the money.

So a select number of them will just tell the government to pay them but they are going to give the money to a worthy cause anyway. So essentially, the office of President of the United States becomes a volunteer position.

When I was a young man and more physically able I used to volunteer once a week an an elderly living apartment complex. I would go in and do simple housekeeping stuff at the complex like vacuum floors and things like that.

Every week, the residents would each put together a quarter or two and order me and the other guy volunteering this humongous pizza. I can tell you that it was the best pizza I ever had but it was because I got it as a gift from the heart for doing something good.

Via Western Journal:

President Donald Trump has donated $100,000 of his salary to the federal agency that manages research on alcohol and alcohol-related issues.

The sizable donation – which was the president’s third quarter salary of 2018 — was given to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the White House revealed.

The NIAA “conducts research on the impact of alcohol use on human health and well-being” and serves as “the largest funder of alcohol research in the world,” according to the organization’s website.

The research agency was just the latest recipient of Trump’s presidential salary.

As a 2016 candidate, the billionaire real estate mogul pledged not to accept a salary if elected president.

Trump, who by law must be compensated, has followed through on this promise by giving away his $400,000 annual government income to various federal departments every quarter.
