A Man Tried Robbing A Woman At A Chicago Bus Stop, He Paid For That Mistake Dearly

When I was in the military, I had family that lived in Chicago and when I was stationed in Illinois I would regularly take the train from Northern Illinois to Chicago to visit them on weekends.

One time, I got an extra day or two off when I was able to go and ended up traveling on a day that I didn’t normally travel.

I ended up getting off at the wrong train station and found myself walking through a part of Chicago that I was not familiar with.

After a while I called my uncle to ask him what train station I was supposed to meet him at and when I told him where I was his first reply was to go into the nearest grocery store and not leave there.

I was apparently walking through a part of that side of town that was known for people getting roughed up at bus stations and the like. I had no idea.

Now, when someone tries to attack someone and that person is forced to defend themselves the person that was attacking them deserves every bad thing that’s coming to them because the person getting attacked went into it having no idea what might happen to them either.

Via Daily Wire:

A woman with a concealed carry license fatally shot an armed man who attempted to rob her while at a bus stop in the Fernwood neighborhood in Chicago Tuesday morning.

Around 6:15 a.m., the 25-year-old woman was approached while waiting for her bus alone, by a 19-year-old man who attempted to rob her at gunpoint, ABC 7 reported.

The man reportedly pulled out a firearm and announced he would rob her. The woman reached for her firearm and fired one round at the attempted robber, shooting him in the neck.

In a surveillance video, the man is seen fleeing the scene after being shot and the woman runs in the opposite direction. He was later discovered one block away and taken to Christ Medical Center where he died.

ABC7 reporter Diane Pathieu tweeted that the woman had a concealed carry license.

Surveillance cameras capture an attempted armed robbery,” Pathieu wrote. “A 19yo man attempted to rob a 25yo woman at gunpoint waiting at a bus stop at 103rd & Wallace. What he didn’t know is that she has a concealed carry license. She pulled out her gun and shot him in the neck. He died.”

Because he died, no money spent on a trial to let him go and rob somebody else. After all, he was just a poor person looking for a hand out wasn’t he?

Don’t know the identity of the woman but she was 25 years old and had a concealed carry license? Something is wrong with the story here I thin.

You can get a CC License in Illinois at age 21.
“The Illinois State Police Department issues licenses for the concealed carry of handguns to qualified applicants age 21 or older who pass a 16-hour training course.”
