Someone that hasn’t done anything wrong should never admit that they are wrong just because someone in power wants them to admit it.
One look at the case of a man named Dewey Bozella can tell you this. Dewey Bozella was a man that served twenty six years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit.
At some point around ten years into his sentence, he was met with a decision. The court was going to modify his sentence if he admitted that he had actually committed the crime and they would effectively release him the next day.
Knowing that he would have to go through life with people thinking he did something horrible that he did not do, Bozella basically told them to put him back in his cell.
He spent sixteen more years in prison before being released because there was no way that he was going to admit to something he didn’t do. Nobody should have to do that.
Robert Mueller is trying to get people to do that and it just isn’t going to fly with a lot of people.
On November 26, conservative author, Jerome Corsi, who is also an associate of President Trump loyalist Roger Stone, said he’s not interested in cutting a deal offered by chief witch hunter Robert Mueller.
According to Western Journal, Corsi’s name has come up in connection with documents released by WikiLeaks in the 2016 election, and whether he helped move documents from Stone to WikiLeaks. Mueller is investigating alleged improprieties in the 2016 election that could possibly relate to communications between the Trump campaign and Russia.
“They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie,” Corsi told CNN.
Corsi said he was offered a deal if he would plead guilty to one count of perjury.
NBC reported that Corsi, 72, told the network that the charge stems from “testimony involving seeing” WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange
Corsi said he did not know in advance about hacked emails that would be released on WikiLeaks.
Corsi said that when he gave a statement to Mueller’s investigators, he “forgot almost everything about emails in 2016.”
“They want me to say I willfully lied. I did not intentionally lie to the special counsel. I’m not going to agree that I lied. I did not,” Corsi said. “I will not lie to save my life. I’d rather sit in prison and rot for as long as these thugs want me to.”
“We’re going to say to the Office of Professional Responsibility and the inspector general that the way these prosecutors on Mueller’s team behaved with me, and the deal they gave me, which was fraudulent, I believe demands a criminal investigation,” Corsi said.

Now this has got to be a new low, sueing a Prosecutor for doing his job and asking anyone for information they might have about known crimes that have been committed. Now in my 80+ years I do think that is what Prosecutors do ask questions and sometimes seemingly threaten you and even sometimes they do threaten and that is their way of getting the truth. Only someone who supports criminal activity would not want the Prosecutor to do this, especially if the crime had been committed against you or a family member. Protecting another person who has committed a crime just makes you as guilty as they are, I do think that Corsi and his close friend will find this out before the investigation is done.
