Mom Posts Photo Of Child Battling Cancer, Goes Viral When Friend Points Out What Else Is In Photo

A photo has gone viral after a mysterious object in the image.

Erin Potter was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age and when it came back for the third time, her family was devastated with the news. But before she was about to receive her second bone marrow transplant, her family took a photo of her running across the backyard with sparklers in her hand.

This photo would be normally a family photo to see a young child, but as they review the image a figure appeared to be a lot like the Virgin Mary looking over her. The figure was beside Erin in a way that is spooky and comforting at the same time.

And that may have been the case, as Erin was later told by doctors that she was cancer free.

“I didn’t necessarily see it as a sign that Erin is fine and she’s gonna make it but what I took out of it was that someone was watching over her,” said Erin’s dad, Kevin Potter.

It’s hard to not believe that the figure in the image is not the Virgin Mary, as the shape and structure appear to be almost identical. It has certainly given the family and others hope and peace.

“I know she’s not alone, I know we’re not alone and for people who don’t want to believe it, that’s okay,” said Erin’s mother, when asked how she felt about those who were skeptical about the image. “I have my moments when I am falling apart and I’m terrified and I will grab my phone and stare at that picture.”

The photo was taken in Kirtland, Ohio and has caused quite a bit of a stir online. Some believe that it is proof that God is everywhere.

One commenter shared, “No matter what you do or don’t believe, if this picture gives this family strength and comfort and helps them get through this awful time, more power to them! Not up to us to judge what helps people get through things like this family is experiencing.”

While Other commenters shared bible quotes to prove that we are always being looked over by a higher power.
